Immigration New Zealand webinar invitation

10 May 2022

Immigration New Zealand is inviting you to an upcoming webinar about the last two steps of the new Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), the job check and the visa application.

The three steps to hiring a migrant on an AEWV involve employer accreditation, the job check, and the visa application. You can apply for accreditation from 23 May 2022 and for a job check from 20 June 2022 and the work visa opens to applications on 4 July 2022.

Employers accredited with Immigration New Zealand will be able to hire migrant workers on a new visa where no New Zealanders are available to do a job, and where a genuine skill or labour shortage exists.

The webinar on Wednesday 18 May will outline the requirements for the job check and the AEWV application, and there will be an opportunity for you to ask questions.
