Entries open for 2023 Primary Industries Good Employer Awards

The Ministry for Primary Industries and AGMARDT have opened entries for the 2023 Primary Industries Good Employer Awards.

The awards celebrate food and fibre sector employers who demonstrate exceptional employment practices and are open to all primary sector employers and service providers. Entries can be self-made or on behalf of others in one or more of the awards categories.

Entries are open now until 5pm Friday 17th March 2023.

This year there are six award categories:
  • Employee Development
  • Safe and Healthy Work Environment
  • Inclusive and Diverse Workplace 
  • Small Business Recognition
  • Māori Agribusiness  
  • The Supreme Award - presented by the Minister of Agriculture.

The Supreme Award recognises the employer that stands out above all the other winners in their commitment to being an exemplary employer. This employer will be selected by the judges.
