 NZPPI provides leadership on a collective effort to address and adapt to environmental challenges, playing our role in achieving New Zealand’s sustainability goals 

Our focus and achievements to date

• Established a NZPPI Plastics Advisory Group
• Partnered with ECCA to survey our members on their energy, water and plastics use.
• Launched a NZPPI Code of Practice for Sustainable Water Management Standard
• Launched a NZPPI Sustainable Futures Award
• Supporting our members in their own sustainability initiatives
• Communicating our sustainability objectives and progress to policy makers, media, and other industries 
• Working with other primary industries to understand the effects of new national policies on climate change, water, and waste.
