Health and safety improves - except mental health

The Business Leaders' Health & Safety Forum has released its 2025 dashboard report.  It shows that 38% of businesses had fewer serious workplace accidents, but 48% said they had an increase in the number of mental health incidents.

Worker engagement is also improving, with 80% of businesses reporting that they involved workers and their representatives in conversations about health, safety and wellbeing six or more times a year.
