Extension for AEWV employer accreditation

13 Apr 2023

Last year, the Government decided to extend the initial accreditation period for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) as a one-off to give employers more certainty while they get used to the accreditation system.

Apply before 4 July 2023 to become an accredited employer and you will receive a 24-month accreditation if you are approved.

First time accreditation applications made after 4 July 2023 will only be for 12 months.

The Accreditation Process information can be viewed here

You do not need to take any action if you have an accreditation application in process. If approved, your 12-month accreditation will be updated in the enhanced Immigration Online system to 24 months by 2 June 2023.
