Lincoln horticulture event for students on August 15

02 Aug 2022

The Lincoln University Horticulture Society are passionate about getting young people involved within the Horticulture industry. The sector offers a wealth of opportunity for young people to thrive and grow into New Zealand’s future food and fibre leaders.

With a successful first year in 2021 with the establishment of the Lincoln University Horticulture society, we want to keep the ball rolling and continue to expand our club numbers and engagement.

This year we are organising Fuelling The Horticulture Industry event for 2022 and we would love you to be a part of it.  We are looking for passionate panellist’s within the Horticulture sector to join our event, with the overarching topics including; innovation in Horticulture, careers, succession and opportunities within the industry.

The event offers the opportunity for students to engage with industry professionals and gain a broad perspective of the future within the Horticulture industry and why it’s a great sector to start a career in. As well as a great chance for students to network and gain potential job opportunities.

The event will be comprised of a set of panellists that will be asked a series of questions relating to ‘innovation in Horticulture’ . The second half of the evening will be opened up to the attendees to ask the panellists any burning questions and then an opportunity to network with all attendees.

When:  15th of August, 2022

Time: 6pm

Location: The Grouse, Lincoln
