Two NZ Plant Producers Inc members have graced the pages of print magazine this month.
Annemarie van der Slot-Verhoeven from Maryflower features in an article in the latest issue of NZ Gardener magazine. It focuses on Annemarie's journey into plant production, and how they turned their wind-swept bank from one over-grown with gorse and blackberries into a stunning show garden. Up against the unforgiving Wellington climes, Annemarie found the answer in innovative landscape design and clever choice of plants. Since running a promotion during the level 4 lockdown last year that took off faster than the afore-mentioned gorse, Maryflower has had the best year ever.
The article has also been shared online, you can read about Annemarie and Marie flower here.
Grant Eyre, General Manager of Growing Spectrum also has an article in Go Gardening magazine featuring his beautiful home-made greenhouse. With an image for inspiration, a creative eye (and an integral builder friend), the greenhouse has been jig-sawed together out of salvaged and recycled timber window frames.
