Update: COVID-19 Allowances for Plant Producers at Level 4 Last week NZ Plant Producers received confirmation that the range of activities plant producers can undertake at Level 4 now includes despatch and freight of seedlings and plants at risk of deterioration. Freighting plants is generally allowed at L4, including across the Auckland border. Note that free movement of plants is allowed between and within Level 3 & 2 regions.

Auckland water restrictions bite Auckland Council and Watercare Services have implemented restrictions on water use across the Auckland region. Just as our sector emerges from the worst of the Covid-19 restrictions, our Auckland members have now been hit by a new alert system, which restricts water use.
