NZPPI Plant Disease Management Platform
The NZPPI Plant Disease Management Platform contains up-to-date weather summaries, seasonal growing factors and forecast information.
From September 2024, NZPPI will provide weekly up-to-date reports of disease risk in your local area. Reports are generated from the Plant Disease Management Platform and are based on data from your nearest participating weather station. Each update takes into account seasonal growing factors and research-based disease risk models for myrtle rust, black spot and downy mildew. To receive these reports email NZPPI Extension Co-ordinator Jacinta Harrop at jacinta@nzppi.co.nz.
The phone and desktop Myrtle Rust climate model is also available. We welcome your feedback on the tool.
