The demand for plants is growing at a rate not seen in over 40 years. This SHED meeting will focus on the factors driving the demand and how to make the most of this opportunity. This SHED meeting is for anyone involved in horticulture in the Wellington region, including plant producers, retailers, educators, landscapers, researchers and policymakers.
This SHED meeting will be held in the Seminar Room at the Treehouse in the middle of Wellington's Botanic Gardens on Thursday 26th November at 10am.
SHED stands for See, Hear, Engage, Debate. They are a chance for plant producers from around a region to come together to connect and share ideas and expertise.
NZPPI will be providing morning tea at 10am, which will be followed by a discussion on the global phenomenon that is this unprecedented demand for plants. The team at the Wellington Botanic Gardens will then lead us on a guided tour of the stunning gardens. The morning will finish on an update of NZPPI's latest work and updates from the Chief Executive Matt Dolan.
