Preparations for the first National Gardening Month in October are well underway. This ambitious project establishes a month-long nationwide celebration of gardening in retail stores and in the media.
Based on the excellent Labour Weekend initiative run by Yates, our new industry-led approach received broad backing at the NZ Plant Producers Conference in May.
During the conference discussion, retailers requested extending the promotional period to the entire month of October to give more time for activating in-store promotions, and to offer a wider window to allow for the inevitable spring weather issues.
