At the NZPPI 2026 Forum and Annual General Meeting (AGM) we will discuss how our advocacy work in Wellington is achieving success. Producer Members will vote on the key issue of a commodity levy (find out more).

The 2025/2026 Annual Report is now available, including audited financial statements to 31 March 2026, minutes of the 2025 AGM and remits for the 2026 AGM.

Programme
We'll start with lunch, followed by an advocacy session with Prof. Hamish Gow from Lincoln University and an open forum discussion on the commodity levy – which we will then vote on at our AGM. We'll finish up with an open bar.

Producer members who are unable to attend in person or online should appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf. This is particularly important as we vote on the key issue of a nursery industry commodity levy.
Appointing a proxy is quick and easy on our online form. You can easily select one of our board members as your proxy or appoint another voting Producer Member who is attending the AGM.
Non-members and Industry Members are welcome to attend, including the AGM from 3 to 4:30pm as observers.

This year's AGM will include the election for the Greenlife Landscape Board Member position, which represents plant producers selling their plants to landscape and amenity organisations.
As there were no nominations during the 2026 NZPPI Board Election held in February, this position may be filled through an election at this AGM. The Greenlife Landscape Board Member position is for a term of three years beginning at the conclusion of the AGM.
During the AGM, nominations will also be solicited from the floor. Nominations may also be made in writing, by a proposer and seconder, with the approval of the nominee, to be received by the Chief Executive Officer by 3pm on 23 September.
