Plant Pass launch next month: register now to promote your nursery

27 Apr 2022

As we gear up for the official launch of Plant Pass next month, scheme manager NZPPI is delighted that 10 nurseries have converted their interim pilot certification into formal Plant Pass certification. We applaud Ardmore Nurseries, Auckland Botanic Gardens Nursery, LE Cooke Nurseryman, Lynwood Avocado Nursery, Nga Rakau Nurseries, Riversun Nursery, Rural Design, Scott Base Nurseries, Treeline Native Nursery and Zealandia Horticulture. They are doing their part to strengthen our industry's commitment to Ko Tātou This Is Us as are the other 29 nurseries that have registered

During launch week in mid-May and for several weeks afterwards we will be promoting Plant Pass certified and registered nurseries as part of the launch campaign. To be part of this campaign, register with Plant Pass now and see your nursery promoted through various marketing channels.

Launch week will also include various webinars targeted at plant producers, local and central government, retailers and other stakeholders. We will announce details of the webinars shortly.

NZPPI also applauds the organisations that have signed the Plant Buyers’ Accord in advance of the launch: Kiwifruit Vine Health, NZ Avocado and the Ministry for Primary Industries.  Accord signatories commit to using their influence to support and incentivise plant producers to improve their biosecurity practices through Plant Pass.

Look out for Plant Pass launch updates as we get closer to May 16.
