Join us for the NZPPI Connect Symposium, Thursday 26 June, a full-day event designed to bring the plant production industry together for networking, insight and action. The day will begin with coffee and networking from 8.30am, followed by a 9.30am start.
The programme features:
- Industry and economic updates
- Discussion on current government policy, challenges and opportunities
- Workshops for the greenlife and native nursery sectors
- Greenlife landscape sector – exploring how nurseries and landscapers can better contribute to urban greening and infrastructure, including best practice from design to maintenance, and identifying opportunities for stronger industry participation.
- Native nurseries – building a more connected and successful sector by identifying barriers, sharing ideas, and formulating practical industry-wide initiatives.
Workshops begin with discussion sessions in the morning, followed by solution sessions in the afternoon, with a report-back to the whole group before the close. The detailed agenda is attached above, just click on Download file.

Networking Opportunities
- Morning coffee and lunch – network over coffee on arrival and a catered lunch
- Networking dinner from 7:00pm at The Carlton, Corner of Papanui Road and Bealey Avenue, Christchurch CBD. Pre-dinner drinks sponsored by the Canterbury Nursery Growers Association. Dinner is at attendees’ own cost.
